I honestly don’t even know how to explain what happened last night at the Music Box in Hollywood without still feeling the energy of the show today.  The LA Beatdown camp threw one of the best events LA has seen in a while.  Konfront & High Symmetry opened the night proper.  Everyone that walked in that front door did not stop moving once they got to the dance floor.  KleptoMadDox kicked off the first stop of their “Making the Connection” tour, and I must say there was no better way to kick it off then on Christmas night on Hollywood boulevard with a sold out venue.  The crowd response was massive after their Comedic intro.  The combined energy of three of Los Angeles’ hottest Emcees controlling the track, dropping original tracks, and MASSIVE Remix/Mashup Tracks definitely set the tone for the night.  They definitely “Made the Connection”.   I literally watched someone turn and instantly initiate a HUGE Mosh Pit when KleptoMadDox dropped their new “Love Goes Dub” remix, it was INSANE.  Kleptomaddox surprised everyone mid set by bringing out the beautiful Cassie Zambrano to grace their set with some amazing vocals that left the crowd speechless.  Up next you had two of LA’s living legends, APX1 & CRS?.  Everytime I see these guys perform they always amaze me.  Their track selection and mixing is nothing less than perfect every show.  If you’ve never seen these two perform, you are missing out on an amazing music experience.  By far the best Christmas I have ever had, stay tuned for part 2 of US Dubstep’s media coverage from LA Beatdown.
